Friends of Refugees
Use funds to purchase materials for Literacy Toolkit project, project assists refugee mothers with preschool children under 5 by providing them materials and instruction to teach children how to read at home, amount recommended will pay for 160 kits

Clarkston Community Center
Use funds for Bridging Literacy Gap program, amount recommended will pay for services of certified English teacher for 12 hours per week for 7 weeks, summer program

Global Village Project
Use funds to upgrade Literacy Resource Center for students (refugee girls 11-18 years old), Adding computers, software to track books, bookshelves, and books

DeKalb Library Foundation
Use funds to expand mobile hot spot program to Clarkston branch of public library, amount recommended will pay for 6 mobile hot spot devices that can be checked out and used at student's home

Use funds for Foundational Reading Camp for 30 economically disadvantaged City of Decatur students in 1st to 5th grade and to train 20 City of Decatur teachers in reading instruction, amount recommended will pay for 10 students

Gentle Spirit Church
Use funds to purchase supplies for personal hygiene kits to be distributed to homeless persons, Amount recommended will cover cost for over 430 kits

Boys & Girls Club
Use funds to operate Book Club at Decatur Boys and Girls Club

Amplify My Community
Use funds to put on benefit concert for Decatur Cooperative Ministry last year raised $30,000 Guarantee that Decatur Cooperative Ministry will receive at least the grant amount

Camp Horizon
Use funds to pay for transportation of DeKalb County children (8-11 years old) in foster homes to summer camp

Boy Scouts
Use funds for Scoutreach program, targeted at economically disadvantaged youth, pay membership, uniform, and hand book costs, amount recommended will cover these costs for 10 children
